How to Show Internet Speed on Taskbar in Windows 7/10/11

You can use a third-party program called NetSpeedMonitor to view your Internet speed in the taskbar of Windows 11, Windows 10, or Windows 7. Here's how to configure it:

1. Download and install NetSpeedMonitor:- To start, get NetSpeedMonitor from a reputable source (such as the official website or a reputable download platform):- Make sure you have the appropriate version (x64_setup) for your Windows 11, Windows 10, or Select Windows 7 computer during installation. Clear the x86 version since, even in compatibility mode, it won't work on these platforms.

2. Launch NetSpeedMonitor in compatibility mode (if needed): - Use compatibility mode to launch the application if you see an error message that your operating system is not supported. To open the prompt, navigate to the installation directory (which is usually C:\Program Files\NetSpeedMonitor). Double-click on nsmc.exe.

3. Configure NetSpeedMonitor: - After installation, a window for setup will appear. Select the appropriate network adapter and set your preferred language. Select Save to apply the changes.

4. Include the toolbar for monitoring bandwidth on the taskbar: Double-click nsmc.exe in the installation directory if the prompt does not appear immediately. Just in front of the system tray/notification area, to the right of the taskbar, are the download and upload speed toolbars.

5. Tune NetSpeedMonitor (Optional): - Use the right-click menu to select Show Taskbar Speed. Select your preferred speed unit (Kbit or Mbit) Other parameters such as toolbar alignment, size, and font family can also be changed.

You can also check out Microsoft Store apps like Net Speed Meter, Net Speed Monitor, or Net Speed Monitor Pro. These applications show you real-time statistics right next to your desktop's taskbar.
